Ruby Lorene Brown 1939 - 2010

Linwood — Services for Ruby Lorene Brown, 70, Linwood, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Burial will be in Monticello Cemetery in Shawnee.
Mrs. Brown died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at home surrounded by family.
She was born April 6, 1939, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Clarence and Francis McMahan.
Mrs. Brown traveled extensively with her husband, B.J., to Hawaii, California and Branson, Mo.
Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, B.J. Brown; a son, Dan (Lisa) White; a stepson Roy Brown; three brothers, Ray, Clarence (Mary), and Bob McMahan; four sisters, Donna (Jim) Richard, Mary (Ron) Brown, Alberta (Dwayne) Daniels, and Debbie (Jeff) Fenton; five grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at the chapel.
