Obituaries

Services for Minnie Jean Twist, 75, of Bonner Springs, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Twist died Monday, April 21, 2008, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
She was born July 30, 1932, in Raleigh, N.C.
Mrs. Twist was a longtime resident of Bonner Springs and retired from Swingster Inc. in Bonner Springs.
Her husband, Fred Twist Sr., and a son, Fred Twist Jr. died earlier.
Survivors include her children, Richard Twist, Little Rock, Ark., Mary Allmon, Raymore, Mo., Judy Allmon, Olathe, and Steve Twist of the home; four sisters, Joyce, Joan, Barbara, and Lela; two brothers Richard and Elmer; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog Missy and cat Linus.
