Eugene "Corky" Williams, Jr. 1946 - 2009

Linwood — Graveside services for Eugene "Corky" Williams, Jr., 63, of Linwood, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Mt. Sidney Cemetery in Linwood.
Mr. Williams died Sunday, March 22, 2009, at his home. He was born Jan. 3, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for Belger Cartage Service as a forklift driver retiring after 30 years and was also a member of the Teamsters Local Union #41. He was an auctioneer for his parent’s auction service. In his spare time he loved working on small engines of all types.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Betty Williams, of the home; a daughter, Misty Delana of Linwood; three grandchildren; three brothers, Tom Williams, of Holden, Mo., Bill Bunce, of Blue Springs, Mo., and Jerry Williams, of Linwood; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
