John Ernest Pino 1934 - 2009

Edwardsville — Memorial services for John Ernest Pino, 74, of Edwardsville, were Saturday, May 2, at Porter Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Pino died Monday, April 27, 2009, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
He was born Nov. 15, 1934, in Casper, Wyo., the son of John Pino Sr. and Kate Pino.
The cowboy traditions Mr. Pino lived in Wyoming greatly influenced his life. An avid sportsman, he relished hunting and fishing with his family and friends and expressed his appreciation for wildlife through his work as a taxidermist.
His sterling work ethic was lived out in his 30 years as pasteurizer for Safeway Dairy. After retirement, he also worked for Champ and Phenix Label.
Mr. Pino was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Betty Pino; four children and their spouses, Frank and Liz Pino, Connie and Steven Henry, and Joyce and Michael Fuentes, all of Edwardsville, and Russ and Lee Pino, Gardner; and seven grandchildren.
