William S. Glover 1931 - 2011 Bonner Springs

Memorial services for William “Bill” S. Glover, 79, Bonner Springs and previously of Marathon, Fla., will be 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs. Cremation will follow.
Mr. Glover died Sunday June 19, 2011
He was born July 17, 1931, in Topeka and was raised in Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Glover was a graduate of Wyandotte High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a lineman for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #53, retiring after 38 years of service. He was active in the Moose Lodge while living in Marathon.
Betty, his wife of 22 years, died in 2006.
Survivors include six children, Mark Glover and Lorna (Charlie) Schneider, Kansas City, Kan., Amy Glover and fiancé Don Breitling, of the home, Holly (Andy) Schreiber, Shawnee, Stephanie (Mike) Wheeler, Bonner Springs, and David (Kathy) Bexten, Leawood; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at the funeral home.
