Clinton R. Vickers 1943 - 2014 Bonner Springs, KS

Clinton Russell Vickers, 71, of Bonner Springs, KS died December 14, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial Services will be 11 am, Fri., Dec. 19 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS where the family will also receive other family and friends at the Memorial Visitation on Thur. evening, Dec. 18 from 5 to 8 pm. Clint was born September 13, 1943 in West Plains, MO. He spent his youth in Western Johnson County and he graduated Bonner Springs High School class of 1961.He married Judy Hicks on March 3, 1962. Providing for his family was Clint’s top priority and his work ethic was impressive, throughout his life. He started young as a business owner with a hay crew, then a dump truck, and later Vickers Automotive, V & H Trenching, and currently Back in Thyme Bed and Breakfast, as well as a real estate investment venture, CRV LLC.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Dorthy Vickers, brother Don Vickers and nephew Randy Vickers.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy. Daughters Sonya (Doug) Clements, Sheryl Vickers (Jay) Horting. Grandchildren, Keenan (Mattie), Seth and Jared Clements, Evan and Lilah Vickers Platz, Kaiden and Kara Horting. Great Granddaughters Logan and Charlotte Clements. Clint has many nephews and nieces, brothers and sisters in-law, extended family and many wonderful friends.
