Robert “Bob” Buehler

Robert “Bob” Buehler, also known as “The Chief”, age 85 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at home. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He was very involved in 4-H and enjoyed helping the kids. In 1973 he began raising Maine Anjou Cattle and later raised Dairy Goats. Bob was full of laughter, wit and charm. He enjoyed smoking meats, hunting, fishing and visiting with people. He was a State Farm Agent for 48 years; a Mason of the Roger E. Sherman Temple for 65 years; an Abdallah Shriner for 64 years; he served in the army for 9 years; president of Piper PTA and co-owner of an asphalt plant. He was preceded in death by his parents Loyd and Lucy and 2 brothers Russ and Loyd. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 61 years and their 5 children: Cindy Jaccard (Rick) Leavenworth KS., Randy Buehler (Virginia) KC KS., Bart Buehler (Melissa) Basehor KS., Joe Buehler (Theresa) Bonner Springs, KS., Candy Taylor (Pat) Tonganoxie KS., 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 brother Dave Buehler and 3 sisters: Barbara Stephens, Winnie Ackley and Beverly Renne.
