A familiar local icon was seen in the American Royal parade Saturday in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The horse drawn hearse from Alden-Harrington Funeral Home turned some heads as it made its way north on Grand Avenue near the Crown Center Shops. The longtime Bonner Springs funeral home is celebrating 100 years of a family owned business. Jeff Harrington (right) was sitting shotgun on the hearse along with Kelly Johnson of Pleasant Hill, Mo.
