Bruce Tyner, a 2008 Basehor-Linwood High School graduate, carries the football during a game against Lansing as a BLHS junior. Although track was his best sport, Tyner made his greatest impact on the football field. He spent much of his high school track career injured, but he gained a second chance when he walked on to the track team at the University of Kansas.
