Linwood city officials recently met with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to discuss whether the city could find the money to contribute to a project that would fix erosion problems along Stranger Creek. The creek meanders through Linwood on its way to the Kansas River — and several buildings, including this home owned by Danny Saultz, 19302 Golden Rd., sit precariously close to the creek.
