Ernie Straub (left), Joan Muehlberger and John Muehlberger serve a meal to the guests at Shalom House, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas’ homeless men’s shelter in Kansas City, Kan. They visited Shalom House April 10 to meet some of the men who will be helped by Catholic Charities’ upcoming Golf Classic. Other volunteers were John Southard, Ben and Betty Zarda, all of Shawnee, and John Huber, Leawood.
