When Gene and Charlene Davis learned of Gene's diagnosis with Alzheimer's five years ago, their plans to travel the country were cut short, and Charlene became Gene's caregiver. Millions more Americans will face the same life-altering diagnosis in the next 13 years, as the number of Americans with the disease is projected to more than double.
