Slow ride 101 September 3, 2008
It wasn't an impromptu Hell's Angels gathering - the riders were students in a 20-hour, weekend-long motorcycle safety classes at KCKCC.
With the engines running but in neutral, the class of riders walk their bikes along a portion of the track.
Breena Callahan of Mission (left) and Stephanie Dembski of Platte City along with other students practice their hand control grip before getting back on their motorcycles.
Instructor Liz Resman (right) leads a class of nine riding students on Saturday in a parking lot at Kansas City Kansas Community College. The college provides the motorcycles.
