2009 Kaw Valley Relay for Life June 17, 2009
The Kaw Valley Relay for Life was from 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, to 7 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Bonner Springs High School track. The event drew about 800 participants and raised approximately $125,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Survivors enjoy dinner during the survivor rally in the Bonner Springs High School cafeteria. The purple shirt with the word “Survivor” printed on the back signified all those who had battled or who are currently battling cancer.
Cancer survivors take the first lap of the night for the 2009 Kaw Valley Relay for Life.
