Does the city need to be tougher in its enforcement of sidewalk snow shoveling?

What I find more disturbing are the mounds of snow blocking sidewalks at street corners. Impossible to cross the street from one block to another, even when the rest of the sidewalk has been cleared.

I received a mailing from the City of Bonner Springs. It said I had so many hours to remove snow from sidewalks adjacent to my property or, I would face a $$ fine. The mailing also stated that if I were unable to remove snow from sidewalk, I could call and get the name of a snow angel.

I do not have any side walks near my house, the city should check before doing a mass mailing.

I may still call the city for snow angel contacts. not for the city side walk, but for my own.

The Bonner Springs maintenance crews did a great job in the snow removal, you can't ask for any better service. Thank you........TW
