With the transition from October to November we have a change in the season, from the season of ghosts and ghouls to pumpkins, turkey and Thanksgiving. Traditionally it also would be the transition to thoughts of the nativity and Santa, however, since retailers have had Christmas displays out since July, that transition is no longer appropriate.
