The first vehicle makes its way through the new Tonganoxie/Eudora Interchange at Milepost 212 on Interstate 70, Tuesday. The interchange is the first of its kind on the Kansas Turnpike and will be completely automated with K-Tag and self-pay machines similar to those found in large retail or grocery stores.

Huhn, of Lansing, didn't hesitate to sign up for the Kansas Student Medical Loan Program. She said it was a win-win situation for her. The program pays for her tuition and provides $2,000 for monthly expenses. In return, she will become a primary care doctor and work in a rural Kansas community. The program will save Huhn about $170,000 over four years.
