SMNW's Talley signs with KCKCC

Shawnee Mission Northwest High guard Dehven Talley committed to play basketball at Kansas City Kansas Community College in the fall.

Talley was a key contributor off the bench for the Cougars, who went to state before losing eventual 6A-runner up Blue Valley North High.

In that state game, Talley led the way with 11 points.

“Dehven was a solid player for us this past season,” SMNW coach Mike Rose said in a news release. “He was a true team player and worked as hard as anyone to be the best basketball player he could be. The first one in the gym and the last one to leave most nights, he performed his role for us as a true teammate would and I believe has the ability to be an integral part of KCKCC’s future success.”
